Apple, Microsoft, Facebook and Amazon have already gathered enough information about me, I don't want to voluntarily give them more. I am open to different suggestions of how to accomplish this goal but I do not want to store anything on any cloud services. I have a Plex Client running on my Samsung Smart TV. My NAS is running Synology (technically, a HP ProLiant Gen8 G1610T MicroServer running Xpenology) and on it I am running a Plex server and Synology's Photostation. My goal is to take videos on my iPhone, transfer them to my NAS and then for them to be available to watch on a variety of clients, primarily on my Samsung Smart TV (UE55MU7000). I am struggling to understand and am hoping somebody can help.
